This Lincoln Square project focused on reworking the kitchen and adjoining breakfast area to better support everyday family life. By removing interior walls, we introduced a more open layout anchored by a functional peninsula, creating a natural eat-in moment for a young family. The rear of the home was transformed into a warm, layered nook through the addition of wallcovering, art, and thoughtful detailing, while the kitchen itself was energized with a lively pop of yellow. Sustainability remained a guiding principle, with an emphasis on reusing existing elements where possible and selectively updating finishes—such as backsplash, lighting, and paint—to create a cohesive, timeless result.
